Edward VII, born on the 9th of November 1841. He was the eldest son of Queen
Victoria and married Princess Alexandra of Denmark in 1863, who bore him three
sons and three daughters.
Edward succeeded the throne upon Victoria's death in 1901.
He travelled Europe extensively, which made him a good ambassador in foreign
relations. He had quite a few relatives amongst  the royal houses of Europe, this
helped him in foreign policy negotiations.
Edward was a flamboyant, fashionable king and he had a relatively peaceful rule.
Edward died on the 6th of May, 1910, after a series of heart attacks.
