Edward VII Sixpence

The portrait was designed by George William de Saulles.
The legend reads EDWARDVS VII GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX
FID: DEF: IND: IMP.
The reverse was a similar but modified version of the "old
head" Victoria sixpence reverse. The modification being the
shape of the crown above the wreath.

A matt finish proof sixpence was issued along with a regular
sixpence for 1902 only.
